Daniel W. Zaide wins the 4th AIAA CFD Student Paper Competition
Daniel W. Zaide is a PhD candidate working with Prof. Philip Roe and Prof. Ken Powell in the Center for Radiative Shock Hydrodynamics and recently won the 4th AIAA CFD student paper competition at the 20th AIAA CFD Conference in 2011.
Daniel received his BASc in engineering science from the University of Toronto in 2007, and is currently researching numerical shockwave anomalies in shock-capturing schemes. Daniel is also supported by a Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada fellowship.
