Academic Programs

Our Department has both graduate and undergraduate programs.

For the undergraduate program, students apply to the College of Engineering, and declare Aerospace as their major, typically in their second or third semester.  The undergraduate program leads to a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Aerospace Engineering) degree.  We award approximately 120 Bachelor's degrees each year.

For the graduate program, students apply to the Rackham College of Graduate Studies, and enter the Department directly.  We offer several options for the Master's degree, and a Doctoral degree.  We award approximately 60 Master's degrees and 20 PhD's each year.
